I’m honestly losing my mind. I know this because I was thinking today about when The Expendables 2 was set to come out and whether or not I should bother to see it. And in looking for the first one on Netflix, I found the second one too.
Well shit. Not only am I crazy, but I’m also late to the party.
SO…I missed Chuck Norris, my hero [not really] in one of the “hottest” movies of the summer? Damn.

I’ve seen this girl’s work. And quite frankly, she’s a mediocre actress. And as you can see she has been hired to play an extremely important character in a franchise that needed not to be revived, but nevertheless was. So a mediocre actress in a slightly mediocre franchise…
But lets not get me started on The Amazing Spiderman as a whole….
We’ve all by now heard about how Yahoo is trying to get some “cool” with a supposed $1 billion purchase of hip blogging platform Tumblr, but it may be a moot point if Tumblr’s users fail to stick around post-sale…Well shit. This is gonna suck hard balls.

I am quite literally sickened. As I scroll down Tumblr I feel sick to my stomach and angry, oh so angry. This shit is gonna suck so fucking hard. And is anyone (besides Yahoo) even surprised that we don’t like this? I mean, really?
Once a dignified competitor with Google, Yahoo has all but fallen to shit in the last 7-10 years. They’re fucking desperate to revive themselves and will do anything, including dropping a BILLION DOLLARS to buy one of the best websites ever created.
Yahoo has become a solitary news source for old people. You know where I see Yahoo as a home screen? On the blocky computers of old people and parents. Seriously. My mom has had yahoo as her home screen for practically a decade and freaks out if you even SUGGEST changing it. Because that’s where she finds her news. And that’s where she searches for shit.
And although Yahoo gets the job done, it’s not spectacular. Tumblr is fucking fantastic! It is a website that has quite literally defined our entire generation. It’s our time capsule - one day we may stop using our Tumblogs and create a new one, or just stop blogging all together and we can look back on how we thought, felt, and saw the world as a preteen, teen or young adult, just by typing in a URL.
Tumblr is revolutionary and constantly metamorphosing, whereas Yahoo, as a whole, stays stationary, boring, and slow.
How are we, as Tumblr users, to accept our blogs, our sanctuaries, to be now owned by a company so boring, lackluster, and lame as Yahoo?
David Karp, sir, you have honestly let me down. I literally tear up as I write this out of sorrow. You made a home for me here, a place where I wouldn’t be bullied; a place that could distract me from my troubles if only for a while; a place that I could learn and meet new people and cultures…a magical place. And now my wonderland might be destroyed for competitive purposes by a boring, grotesque and ancient old monster that really should be left to die.
Tumblr users : DO NOT REBLOG THE CREATOR ANYMORE. HE HAS ABANDONED US.

NO - this is not weird. This is not coincidence. It can’t be. Hollywood is filled with greedy idiots who can’t come up with their own shit. So when they hear an inkling of another production company or producer or director making a movie about [insert vague topic here] they make one too.
And in some respects it works, because if two movies about the apocalypse or zombies or Hercules is coming out, then viewers will flock to the both of them to see who’s is better.
